1. Introduction

Welcome to Popshots. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy informs you how we handle your data when you use our services for your weddings, parties, and corporate events.

2. The Data We Collect

• Contact Data: Your email address, collected via Google OAuth for account creation.
• Technical Data: IP address and browser type to ensure secure access to private galleries.
• Content Data: High-resolution photos and videos uploaded by you and your guests.
• Payment Data: We use PhonePe for secure payment processing. We do not store your credit card or UPI details on our servers.

3. Data Retention & Deletion

To respect your privacy and manage storage effectively, we automatically delete content based on your plan:

• Free Plan: All photos and videos are permanently deleted 7 days after the event ends.
• Pro Plan: Content is kept for 30 days, giving you ample time to download memories.
• Bigshot Plan: Content is preserved for 1 full year for extended access.

Note: Once content is deleted from our cloud storage (Supabase S3), it cannot be recovered. Please ensure you download all memories before the retention period ends.

4. Security

Your galleries are private. Access is limited to those with the unique QR code or link generated for your event. We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data during transit and at rest.
